General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a special guest star has a surprising ABC soap connection. GH fans recently met Carol Lockhart (Mandy Musgrave), the waitress Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has been seeking help from in Beechers Corners. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) also shared scenes with Carol, who wants Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) to finally be stopped.

If Musgrave looked familiar, there are some good reasons why. For starters, Musgrave happens to be married to a talented General Hospital alum. Matt Cohen (ex-Griffin Munro) left the show earlier this year, but his wife scored the part of Carol and did an excellent job. Musgrave had only wonderful things to say about GH and her costars for these episodes.

“Had the pleasure of stepping on 2 #GeneralHospital for a moment,” Musgrave tweeted after filming. “Blown away by their work ethic & charisma! Only takes 10 minutes 2 understand why that well oiled machine works so well. Chad Duell & Steve Burton we’re angels! Princes among men. thank you GH!”

Days of Our Lives fans may also recognize Musgrave from her time in Salem. She played Chelsea Benson from 2004-2005, so she might’ve sparked a memory or two for DOOL viewers. Days watchers might know the character best as Chelsea Brady – although she didn’t start using that name until 2007 after Rachel Melvin took over the part.

As for Musgrave’s latest GH stint, she received a positive response on social media. Carol was perfect as a Shiloh disciple who was once gullible but now sees the error of her ways. “Loved seeing the gorgeous @Mandy_Musgrave on general hospital today,” one General Hospital fan said. “I bet @mattcohen4real is so proud of her.” “Nice to see you on TV, Mandy,” said another.

It’s always fun when General Hospital stars have friends and family members involved in the show. Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks) is pals with Ashton Arbab (Dev) in real life, so she seems to be having a blast working with him. Kirsten Storms’ daughter, Harper, also played Georgie Spinelli briefly back in 2015. It just adds a little something when we know there’s a hidden link!
